The Hadley DNA Project General Fund Information

The Hadley DNA Project has established a General Fund that we will use to pay part of the cost of DNA testing for new participants.

You can help build up the Hadley DNA Project General Fund so we can offer more incentives to new participants. Our DNA testing company, FamilyTreeDNA, recently set up a "General Fund" process for each family DNA project, where people can donate funds that can be used to offset the cost of test kits for selected participants.

There are two ways you can contribute to the fund.
  • You can make a donation by going to www.familytreedna.com/contribution.html Be sure to specify the Hadley Project on the form. You can contribute by check, credit card, and PayPal.
  • Another way you can contribute to the general fund is to make use of the Affiliate Programs that the Hadley DNA Project is set up for, as offered by Amazon.com and other web merchants.
The idea is that if you use the links from the Hadley DNA Project web site or the links in this note, we get a commission that helps fund more Hadley research. All funds acquired this way go into the Hadley DNA Project General Fund.

It doesn't cost you anything to use these links, so why not divert some of the merchant’s funds to family history research?

Please take a look at the merchants at our web site: http://www.hadleyfamily.us/contribute.html . There's also a link there to the Hadley DNA web site in case anybody you forward this to wants to know more about it. All of the merchants included on the list have my personal recommendation (I included a blurb for each of them at the link above).

You can either bookmark the page above and remember to go there to get to these merchants, or you can cut/past the direct links shown on that page as a bookmark in your web browser. Remember Christmas is coming.

I suspect most of you use Amazon.com a lot, so when you go there don't just type in www.amazon.com use THIS LINK: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/browse/-/9/104-3366480-9492765

Please forward this information to any of your friends who might want to donate to this worthy cause, at no cost to themselves.
