Alice's sister, Lilly Estella Sellers (15 August 1872 - 15 March 1961) was ten
years old on March 11, 1882 when she wrote this to her sister:
"Dear Sister When you open your caskit of pearls Mine will glitter not But my love will last as long As any of the lot. Respectfully, Lilly Sellers"
"Sister Alice; There is another album Filled with leaves of spotless white, Where no name is ever tarnished But for ever pure and bright In the book of life - God's album May your name be penned with care Any may all who here have written Write their names forever there. March 11th 1882 Mattie E. Sellers"
"Written for Alice-Gasburg, Morgan County, Ind.-June 13th 1883 May your life be long and happy is the wish of your Grand Father Lot M. Hadley..."
"Gasburg, Ind. When distant lands divide us And you no more I see Remember this is from a friend Who often thinks of thee Your Cousin Clara Hadley"From her first cousin, Montclair "Clara" Estoria Hadley (24 October 1865 - 05 May 1900). Clara was the daughter of Nathan Hadley and Penelope Pruitt. She was also one of Lot Maris Hadley's granddaughters.
