Spring Meeting is located in the southeastern corner of Alamance County a few
miles east of the Cane Creek Monthly Meeting House. A meeting for worship was
established in 1773 and a monthly meeting in 1793.
Minutes for the men's meetings prior to 1815 are lost. However, some of the female members at the time of organization include Holaday, McCracken, Hadley, White, and more. In addition to the meeting house at Spring Creek, there is a cemetery that includes memorial markers for Joshua Hadley and his second wife, Patience Brown, and Thomas Lindley and his wife, Ruth Hadley.
