Thomas Hadley was born December 25, 1756 in New Castle County, Delaware. He was the son
of Simon Hadley (1737-1803) and Bridget Foote (1732-1807).
Eunice Jones was born in 1750 and died on 18 September 1821. She was the daughter of James E. and Elizabeth Jones.
Thomas and Eunice were married in February of 1777 and together they had eleven children:

Obedience "Biddy" Hadley (14 July 1790 - 08 June 1826) 8. Anna Hadley (08 November 1792 - ~1829) 9. Mary Hadley (30 August 1794 - ??) 10. Eunice Hadley (27 December 1796 - ??) 11. Thomas Hadley (28 March 1799 - ??) Thomas and Eunice made their home in Surry (now Yadkin) County, North Carolina. They were among the original membership of the Deep Creek Monthly Meeting of Friends, which was established in 1793. Thomas and Eunice are buried at the Deep Creek Cemetery, in Falls Township, Surry County, North Carolina. |
