Inscription on Simon's gravestone reads:

Sacred, To the memory of Simon Hadly Senr, Who was born in Mar 1760, and departed this life on the 14th day of May 1835, Aged 75 years

Inscription on Jane's gravestone reads:

Sacred, to the memory of Jane Hadly, wife of Simon Hadly Senr, who was born on the 29th day of June 1767, and departed this life on the 27th day of November 1829, Aged 62 years 4 months and 29 days.

Simon and his wife, Jane are buried in the Hadley/Brown Cemetery located on the former plantation of Simon Hadley, Sr., in Grady County, (formerly Thomas County) Georgia. Simon's grave is the outside grave in the rear, laying flat. Next to him is his wife, Jane Wilkinson Hadley. The next grave, beside the tree, is believed to be either that of his daughter Anne, or his son, Samuel Holmes. Directly in front of Simon (front and to the right in photo) is his granddaughter, Jane Lafayette Hadley (daughter of Samuel Holmes Hadley), along with her husband, William Ponder Brown.
